Most likely, a ten-year-old child will be less thrilled with the gift of a camera, the Zorki 4, than when getting a new bicycle…. People already saw something very special in the first photographs of human faces taken by Ayal Rosin in the streets of Tel Aviv in 1967, pleasantly surprised by his instinctive sense of composition and lighting. Years later, Rosins skills and passion for aesthetics and optimal proportion result into studying Industrial Design. The driving motivation for moving to Pforzheim is the study of Transportation Design at the renowned School of Design, followed by a career at the Audi Design Center after graduation. Design and production of modern lighting become the focus of the company established in Pforzheim in the mid-1990s. The photographic view is reflected in the elegant design of lightings that are as pleasing to the eye as to the surroundings they illuminate. Photography remains Rosins passion, and this becomes evident in the memorable images that manage to be as subtle as they are bold. Bei einem zehnjährigen Kind wird sich die Freude über eine Zorki 4 Kamera als Geschenk wohl in Grenzen halten, während es sich bei einem Fahrrad sicher anders verhielte... Bereits bei Ayal Rosins ersten Versuchen im Jahr 1967 entstehen in den Straßen Tel Avivs Fotographien von Gesichtern, die den Betrachter durch Rosins instinktive Fähigkeit, Komposition und Licht auf ganz besondere Art zu vereinen, sehr berühren. Danach zieht Rosin nach Pforzheim, um dort an der angesehenen Hochschule für Gestaltung Transportation Design zu studieren. Nach dem Studienabschluss beginnt er eine Laufbahn im Audi Design Center. In den 1990er Jahren entsteht ein Unternehmen, welches sich einzig und allein auf den Entwurf und die Produktion moderner Beleuchtung konzentriert.
